Setting the scene

Out among the ranches and abandoned farmhouses dotted along the long stretches of Texas highways, there stood a lonely chimney - the last remnant of a home that once was. No walls, no roof, just flattened earth, the echoes of fading memories, and whispering all around as the wind drifts through the leaves.

These photos have served as silent markers of time's passing, telling stories of what once was and what used to be. Memories slowly fade, as time marches forward, never stopping to look back

Memories

This type of photography has always been a fun and fascinating genre. Capturing moments in time to me, isn't limited to living things, but it can also apply to places that were once lived in. Funny enough, I had actually photographed this very spot about a year ago while collecting images for my book.
